Coal Miner Print
Item No: GIPICTCM
A beautiful black frame and matting with the Poem
"Going Home"
Just a note to let you know where I have gone. I spent many days with a pick and shovel in my hand, mining coal from God's great land. With lantern lit, into the damp and dusty pit I went. At the end of each days work, dirty and weary, with lunch pail in hand, home I went. I grew homesick for a land that I had never been, but for eternity I knew I would spend. A land of no more days of suffering or pin. A land of no more sorrow, grief or dread of tomorrow. A land of no more dining in the darkness of coal. A land of no more picks, shovels or coal. years of working in mines of coal that took it toll now have been replaced with daily walks on streets of gold. In my earthy house no longer do I reside, but upon angel's wings do I ride, to a mansion built just for me by the Master's hand. Follow God's Plan and we will meet again in this land!
